''We kindly plead you to find the invitation message in your attachment file.'' Hom immediately spotted the latest ploy to trick her into opening an email attachment meant to compromise her computer - a common occurrence for those critical of China. But the recent email attacks against Google used insider jargon so convincing that even Silicon Valley techs were fooled into opening attachments containing ''Trojan horse'' malware.
